  ABSTRACT

OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR HYALURONIDASE ENZYME PRODUCED FROM STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS CLINICAL ISOLATE

The optimum conditions for hyaluronidase production using the clinically isolate S. aureus S2 were studied and the maximum hyaluronidase production was achieved after supplementation of the production medium pH7 with 0.5% of each of lactose and yeast extract and inoculation with a fresh bacterial culture (107Cell/ml) and then incubation at 37oC for 24 hours. Under these conditions, the specific activity of hyaluronidase produced in culture medium was increased to 125 U/mg proteins
