  ABSTRACT

THERMAL KINETICS OF GEL GROWN ETORICOXIB HEMIHYDRATE DRUG CRYSTALS

Etoricoxib hemihydrate have been crystallized by gel growth method for the first time and the crystal structure have been confirmed using single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Kinetic analysis of the thermogravimetric data has been carried out by using Coats-Redfern relation. Activation energy, frequency factor and order of reaction were also calculated. Arrhenius equation for etoricoxib hemihydrate is k = 0.95 × 102 e–66737/RT mol–1s–1. Thermodynamic parameters were also determined
