COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY APPROACH IN TARGETING THE ENZYME CASEIN II ALPHA SUBUNIT USING TRIPHALA CONSTITUENTS
Natural products are sourced from various plants and microbes and it plays an important role in drug discovery. In recent years many pharmaceutical companies focused on natural based new compound entities, drug research in cancer is one of the major research filed all over the world. This current study is based on the targeting an enzyme present in humans encoded by the gene CSNK2A1 of Caesin Kinase sub unit II. This enzyme plays a key roles in regulating cellular growth and metabolism in cells of breast cancer. Hence it is necessary to impede its process in the cancer cells, but the chemo drugs. Inducing resistance in the cells so the natural products based drugs are need to be used as an alternative for treating the disease. Here triphala constituents are docked to the active site of the enzyme and found that gallic acid shows interaction with the active site amino acid havind a dock score of 20.403 with internal energy of -0.784 Kcal/mol.
