EVALUATION OF ANTHELMINTIC AND TERMITICIDAL ACTIVITIES OF DREGEA VOLUBILIS LEAVES
This research study was carried out to evaluate the invitro anthelmintic and termiticidal activities of Dregea Volubilis (L.A) Benth Ex Hook. A (synonym: Wattakaka volubilis (L.F) Stapf. Marsdenia volubilis (L.F) Cooke and Schollia volubilis (L.F) Jacq.ex steud belongs to the family Asclapliadaceae. Ethanolic leaf extract of Dregea Volubilis was tested on Indian earthworms (Pheretima Posthuma) to determine the time of paralysis and death and the extract was also evaluated on termites for its termiticidal activity. Different concentrations of the extract showed significant activities
